He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartsel William Likens and Mary Frances Barb Likens; and his stepson Tommy Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Amanda "Mandy" Cook Likens; his children, Terri Blashaw (Bill) and Charles James Likens, Jr.; his stepchildren, Donna Crick and Billy Nelms (Lori); and his siblings, Beverly Bennett (Stacy) and Hartsel William Likens, Jr. (Sue). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 97, Smithfield, VA 23431.
