She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Franklin Foltz and Evelyn Frances Painter; and her sisters, Frances Higgs and Margie Huffman-Smallwood. She is survived by: her husband Marvin E. Sampson; her daughters, Barbara A. Frazier (Kim) of Shenandoah and Jane S. Blanton (Lee) of Shenandoah; her grandsons, Jonathan Frazier (Emily) of Statesville and Jeffrey Frazier of Harrisonburg; her sister Betty L Burke (Larry) of Richmond; and her great grandchild Ruth Ann Frazier. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
