With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Inez Martin Morris of Scottsburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis E. Martin, Jr. and Ruby Elsie Wallen Martin; and her grandson Justin Farrar. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Morris; her daughter Cheryl H. Bowes of South Boston; her grandsons, Tyler Duffie and Dustin Farrar; her great grandchildren, Jayden Bailey Farrar and Kaleb Thomas Farrar; her sister Shirley Russell (Roy) of Saxe, VA; and her close friends, Dustin and Angie Hess of South Boston.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
