She was predeceased by: her parent George Washington East; her former husband Charles Pruitt; and her siblings, Shirley Webb, Nannie East, Richard East, Wolford East and Clifford East.
She is survived by: her parent Dora Atkins East; and her sons, Wayne Pruitt (Nancy) of Lynchburg, Norman Pruitt (Miki) of Laurinburg, NC and Charles Pruitt (Kathy) of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren.
