We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020, at the age of 85, Loe Jean Wright Staley of Rural Retreat, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Wright, Sr. and Gracie Jane Hounshell Wright; her husband Jerry Vernon Staley; her daughter Beverly Joan Quinn; her son-in-law Walter Edward Creger Jr. (Eddie); and her siblings, James Walter Wright Jr. (Joanne), Ora Lee Testerman (John) and Nellie Lindamood (Hope).
She is survived by: her daughter Ava Staley Creger; her granddaughters, Julie Bednarski (Frankie), Kelly Ann Davis, Brook Folden (Mike) and Emily Farris (Justin); her great grandchildren, Ethan Reynolds, Evan Reynolds, Zack Folden and Cheyenne Farris; and her close friend Gayle Johnston.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Rural Retreat High School Band/Music Program or St. Paul Lutheran Church The family wishes to thank Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia in helping make her journey home a peaceful one.
