He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Daniel "Dan" and Faye Irene Jones (Woods); his wife Margaret Carol Jones (Atwell); and his siblings, Mildred Joyce Jones, Mary Ann Coley (Jones), Robert "Bobby" Daniel Jones, William "Billy" Kenneth Jones, Freddie Neal Jones and Roger Harold Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Alan Jones (Karen), Kathy Ann Jones (Jones) and Steven Wayne Jones; his sister Frances Elizabeth Sturgill (Jones); his granddaughter Devan Michelle Johnson (Buck); and his great grandchild Whitley Blake Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
