James Sawyers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sawyers (Rural Retreat, Virginia), who passed away on June 24, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sayers and Margie Sayers; his former wife Rose Francis Sawyers; his wife Lois Riffey Sawyers; his son James Sawyers, Jr.; his stepdaughter Betty DeBusk; and his sisters, Betty Hayden and Lucille Wingo.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela S. Outen (Mike); and his stepchildren, Debra Osborne, Jerry Haga of Wytheville, Karen Lusk (Danny), Richard Haga (Pam) of Atkins and William Haga (Brenda) of Marion. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
