He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl David Collins and Jimmie Less Haymore Collins; and his sister Rachel Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Green Collins; his brother Jerry Collins (Carmen) of Sutherlin, VA; his brother-in-law Rennie Bailey of Danville, VA; his nieces, Janet Crafiak (John) and Angela Raines (Geoff); his nephew J. W. Collins, Jr. (Rachel); his great-niece Jenny Miller; and his great-nephews, Joey Miller, Nick Salazar and Mikey Salazar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Wesley Chapel UMC at 2041 Kentuck Rd, Danville, VA 24540.
