He is survived by: his children, Janice Robertson, Linda Drasher, Frances Amick, Deborah King and Ricky King; and his sister Julia Alma Ellis. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Silas C Pike Cemetery (2231 Pikeville-Princeton Rd, Pikeville, NC 27863).
