She was predeceased by: her parents, Booker Cooper and Pearl Wimmer Cooper; her husband Arthur Lawson; her siblings, Geraldine Reed, Agnes Lester, Charlie Cooper Mearl Cooper, Millard Cooper and Doil Cooper; and her parents-in-law, Murray and Gaynell Cole Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Alison Wingo of Pounding Mill, VA and Bradley Lawson (Zadin) of Richlands, VA.; her granddaughter Gracen Wingo; her siblings, Yvonne Keen, Josephine Shelton of Jewell Ridge, VA and Glen Cooper (Sheila) of Jewell Ridge, VA.; her sisters-in-law, Anita Cooper, Wanda Cooper, Patricia "Pretty" Honaker and ReDonna Lawson; and her aunts, Cooke of Arizona, Roberta Ritchie The and Patricia "Sue" Cooper Lawson.
