He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dye and Billie Jean Dye; and his brother Carl Dye, II. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cyphers Dye; his sons, Michael Dye (Amy) and Jarrod Dye (Kelly Williams); his siblings, William "Bill" Dye (Sandi) and Pattie Dye Gross; and his mother-in-law Mabel McGlothlin.
