She is survived by: her children, Burley Wayne Steffey, Jr. (Christine) of Lexington, NC. and Shonda Mitchelle Steffey; her sister Margaret Beavers; her grandchildren, Michelle Lynn Steffey, Shane David Steffey (Alexis Marie), Meleshia Shontell Steffey and Blaken Lee Justus (Tara Elaine); and her great grandchildren, Talynn McDaniel, Levi Jason McDaniel, Jimmy Lee Justus, Kaden Bently Justus and Malissa Dianne Steffey.
