He was predeceased by: his brother Douglas Redmond; and his grandmother Jean Dye. He is survived by: his daughters, Britini Dye of Richlands, Cheyenne Bradshaw of Richlands and Addie Redmond of Richlands, Virginia; his brother Jonathan Redmond of Richlands, Virginia; his grandchildren, Winter and Autumn Dye; and his aunts, Glenna Baldwin, Terri Dye, Cindy Dye and Sherry Culbertson.
