He is survived by: his fiancée Marina Gergel; his uncles, Fred Blankenship and Arthur Blankenship, Jr.; his close friend Lera Gergel; his parents, Randal Mitchell and Phyllis Mitchell of Pounding Mill, VA.; his brother J. Shawn Mitchell (Ashley) of Ashburn, VA; his nieces, Bella and Olive Mitchell; and his aunts and uncles, Jerry (Peggy Mitchell), Bruce (Linda Mitchell), Joe (Mary Ann Mitchell), Stanley (Lisa Mitchell), Mark (Brenda Mitchell) and Mary Lynn Blankenship.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bryan will have a private memorial service at a later date.
