She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Richard Edward Bower; her daughter Lee Ellen Bower; her parents, James Henry and Eula Lee Henderson Harper; and her grandparents, Matthew Fern, Annie Eliza Collie Henderson, Alma Franklin and Mary Jane Davis Harper.
She is survived by: her children, James Bower (Rita), Kathleen Bower and Lisa Bower Harris (Bill); her grandchildren, Andrea Bower Boles (Justin) and Jimmy Bower (Cassady); her great grandchildren, Camden, Cayson and Canaan Boles; her sister Mary Ellen Harper Cobb; her nephew Hutton Cobb; her nieces, Luellen Cobb Sorget (Scot) and Jane Cobb Gillespie (John); her great-nephew Stephen Baldwin (Kerry); her great-niece Ali Baldwin Johnston (Craig); and also, Ethan Johnston and Harrison Baldwin.
