She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henderson Meeks and Susannah Wilhelmina Velau Meeks; her husband James W. Fleming, Sr.; and her siblings, Zola Beaves and Marguerite Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, James W. "Bill" Fleming Jr., Sherry of Reedville, Phillip R. Fleming of Grove and Laurel E. Miller (Kyle) of Greenwich; her brother Calvin Dwight Meeks (Freda) of Galveston; her sister-in-law Mary Rayma Meeks of Sand Spring; her grandchildren, James W. Fleming III (Ingrid) of Durham, Thomas E. Fleming (Eve) of Vancouver, Alexander E. Miller and Caroline S. Miller; and her great grandchild Isabella Rose Fleming. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and multiple other relatives.
