He was predeceased by: his wife Hope Heflin Inskeep; and his siblings, Carlin Inskeep, James L. Inskeep, Clyde Inskeep, Jessie Christensen, Helen Richardson and Beulah Mae Lewis.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Gayle Inskeep Hulvey (Kemper), Sandra Hope Inskeep Sewell (Lyndon) and Cathy Jo Inskeep Marco (Carmen); his grandchildren, Benjamin Russell Hulvey, Beth Inskeep McCall (Sean), Rachael Jane Hulvey (Allen Huber), John Britton East, Matthew Sewell (Rebecca), Jeff Marco (Wendy) and Carmen Marco, Jr. (Nicole); and his sister-in-law Dene Heflin.
