It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Tallant (Radford, Virginia), who passed away on February 17, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Millard Lacy Underwood. She is survived by: her husband William Malcolm Tallant of Radford; her children, William M. Tallant, Jr. of Radford, Eugenia Rosemary Akers of Newport and Velma Katherine Price of Blacksburg; her mother Velma S. Perdue of Newport; and her sisters, Marie Gladis Doss of Dublin, Martha Ann Gunther of Wytheville and Melinda Mae Goodwin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
