He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Anderson and Vera Meredith Simpkins; his wife Almetia Colleen Simpkins; his son Douglas C. Simpkins; and his siblings, Siebert, Ellis, Gene, Orville, Ernest, Curtis, Ruth Terry and Hazel Wade.
He is survived by: his son Kirk Anthony Simpkins of Snowville; and his sister Donna Wilson of Radford. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
