It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Benjamin Franklin of Radford, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Anne Baker Franklin; his parents, James Talton and Nancy Graham Franklin; and his brothers, James and Berkley Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Roy of Huntsville, Ala., Cathy Burton (Howard) of Rocky Gap, Ruthie Taylor (Butch) of Christiansburg, Pam Rigney (Carl) of Radford and Randy Franklin (Allison) of Pulaski. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
