He was predeceased by: his parents, Macie Quesenberry Patton and Earl G. Patton. He is survived by: his wife Dana Smith Patton of Pulaski; his son Richard "Rick" Lee Patton (Gina) of Pulaski; his grandson Kristopher Shelor-Bourne (Jennifer) of Pulaski; his goddaughter Andriette Vaughn Farmer (Thomas) of Stanley, NC.; and his close friends, Terry and Suzanne Vaughn of Pulaski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations in Bill's memory to American Cancer Society and to the Alzheimer's Association.
