She was predeceased by: her husband John "Mike" Gianopoulos; and her daughter Patricia Gianopoulos. She is survived by: her sons, John Gianopoulos (Marge) of Newburgh, Jimmy Gianopoulos (Kelly) of Mooresville and Phillip Gianopoulos (Jackee) of Pulaski; her grandchildren, Michael Gianopoulos (Sally), AJ Gianopoulos, Sarah Paige (Dan), Elias Gianopoulos and Lexia Gianopoulos; her great grandchildren, John Gianopoulos and Liam Gianopoulos; her sister Elizabeth Constantinidou of Kifissia, Greece; and her close friend Freda Bryne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of Flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Huntington Blvd NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
