She is survived by: her parents, Arvin Cecil and Dorothy Laxton Cecil of Lashmeet; her husband David Estep; her daughters, Knitta Laxton of Lashmeet and Shelia Crystal Laxton of Kegley; her stepchildren, David Scott Estep, Jessica Estep and Dylan Estep; her siblings, Mylene Cecil Lacy (David) of Lashmeet and Kenton Cecil (Sarah) of Princeton; and her close friend Owen Junior Reed of Lashmeet. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
