She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Benjamin Childress and Liza Oakley Childress; her husband Ronald Edgar Davis; and her siblings, Frances Lawson, Margaret Gravley, Mary Daniels and Richard "Dick" Childress.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Davis, David Davis and Galax. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
