She is survived by: her children, Teresa Rose Hughes (Jerry, Jr.), Pulaski, Derek Van Rose and Galax; her grandchildren, Derek Rose (Ashley), Joshua Thornton (McKaylia) and Keisha Lawson (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Rayne, Ridge Lawson and Elijah Thornton; her sister Darlene Douglas; and her former husband Van Perry Rose.
