It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Ray Carpenter (Providence Forge, Virginia), who passed away on March 1, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carpenter; his children, Misti Carpenter and Timothy Carpenter (Ginger); his stepsons, Michael Hardwicke and Gene Hardwicke (Ida); and his brother Melvin Carpenter (Jacque). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
