She was predeceased by: her husband Frank R. Taylor; her parents, Raphia "Ray" Parker Briggs and Emma Kate Hammock Briggs; her brother Burhl Briggs; and her children, Anita Norton and Elmer Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Priddy (Ted), Terry Petke (Mark), Elaine Odom and Frankie Taylor. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
