He is survived by: his wife Betty Newberry Lawson; his sons, Jerry Lawson (Teresa) of Elizabethton, TN and Kenneth Lawson (Tracy) of Grove Hill, AL; his brother George Lawson (Ruth) of Road Ridge, VA; his grandchildren, Bryce Darragh (Amber), Shawntina Lawson (Austin), Alex Lawson (Brittane), Nathanyal Lawson, Brittni Fleenor, Bethany Coffey and Madison Lawson; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Ray and Claudine Horn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
