It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teddy Roosevelt Horn of Pounding Mill, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Letcher Horn and Josie Addison Horn; and his siblings, Elden J. Horn, Elmer Horn, Allene Strouth and Ruby Rood.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Lawson Horn of Claypool Hill, VA; his children, Kevin Duane Horn of Long Beach, CA, Rebecca Jayne Haywood (Ricky) of Pounding Mill, VA and Teddy Douglas Horn (Jessica) of Ft. Riley, KS; his siblings, Ira Horn, Betty Warburton, Gaynelle Harman and Beatrice Kruckow (Rich); his grandchildren, Ricky Haywood, Jr., Matthew Haywood, Aiden Horn and Addison Horn; and his great grandchildren, Clayton Haywood, Avery Haywood and Grayson Haywood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests masks be worn at all times due to the COVID Pandemic.
