It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Evelyn Lowe of Pounding Mill, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ord Wade and Lucy Shortt Wade; and her siblings, Curtis, Kenneth Wade, Sis Dillion, Ann Bohon and Ruth Stump.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Lowe (Lynn) and Amy Austin (Chris); her grandchildren, Michael Olivares, Brody Lowe, Ryan Austin and Jenna Austin; and her sister Phyllis Estep (Ballard). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
