He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Anderson; his children, Jennifer Perry, Ashley Kempe (Ben), Josh Sloan (Cindy Brady), Justin Sloan (Megan Sharp) and Drew Shackleford (Katelyn); his brother Eric Martindale (Angela); his grandchildren, Corbin Sloan, Christina Sloan, Rachel Martindale, Makaila Perry, Dayna Perry, Skylar Perry, Jesiah Perry and Brooklyn Barrett; his aunt Shirley Slater (John); his niece Emerson Martindale; his nephew Robbie Martindale (Taylor); his great-niece Luray Sunshine Martindale; and his cousin Johnny Slater (Dene).
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
