She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Reichle and Susie P. Reichle; her husband Jack F. Whitaker; and her siblings, Mary Ripley, Helen Trueblood and George A. Reichle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Reid of Rock Island, Illinois, Carol Ellis (Shelly) of Suffolk, Virginia, Mary Riddell of Shiloh and Janet Cochran (Lloyd) of Annandale. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cradock Baptist Church.
