Cathy Modlin left this world on October 2, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Modlin and Joann Modlin of Portsmouth, Virginia.. She is survived by: her significant other Milton; her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Mike; and her grandchildren, Brianne, Emily, Joshua, Aaron and Samuel. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, two sisters, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CHKD NICU Development Team or Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater in her honor.
