She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rudolph Wright and Vera Mae Harris Wright; her husband Burrell McCoy Plasters; and her siblings, Jane Holliday, Lena Turner, Clara Lee Wright, Betty Hollandsworth, Wilma Craig and Edgar Leon Wright, Sr..

She is survived by: her daughter Jessie Lea Plasters of Patrick Springs; and her sister Bonnie Wright Hancock (Leon) of Bassett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
