She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Mae Dudley Jones and Thomas Leslie Jones; and her husband Sidney Thomas Gibson. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas L. Gibson (Virginia) of Palmyra, Richard G. Gibson (Cheryl) of Palmyra and Scott A. Gibson (Kimberly) of Palmyra; her granddaughters, Christina Rizzo (Vince) of Palmyra, Heather Gibson of Palmyra, Sydney Gibson of Palmyra and Jessica Witzak (Ryan) of Woodbridge; her great grandchild Toby Witzak; and her siblings, Elizabeth Wharton and Larry Jones (Janice) of Charlottesville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Belmont Baptist Church.
