It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Shifflett of Palmyra, Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Edward Lee (Buster); her granddaughter Jennifer Crawford; and her children-in-law, Alice, Patricia and Ronnie Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Davis, Naomi Crawford (Roger), Norman C., Ronnie N. and Gary L. Shifflett; her sister Lilly Batton (Peachie); her grandchildren, Allison Thomas (Jason), Roger Crawford Jr., Eddie Shifflett, Roy Dorman, Mark Ray, Ryan Shifflett, Ronald Davis, Angela Shifflett and Emily Crawford; and her great grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Tyler, Sierra Thomas, Lilly Davis, Brayden, Brihanna Shifflett, Adrienne and Olivia Ray. She is also survived by Numerous nephews and nieces.
