With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adele May Murray of Palmyra, Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Banning and Adalaide Shields Banning; her husband James Murray; her brother Ernest Banning; and her grandson Jason Murray.

She is survived by: her children, James Murray (Sue), Kathy Brown (Bill), Donna Barrow (Kenny) and Nancy Murray; her grandchildren, Brian Murray (Megan), Billy Brown (Kate), Kelly Curry (Rocky), Kimberly Garrido (Joel), Heather Ward (Chris) and Samantha Easter (Adam); her great grandchildren, Stephen Brown, Deric Curry, Sophia, Shelby Murray, Jamie Garrido, Jace, Emery Easter, James and Jonathan Ward; and her siblings, Ada May Preston, George and Richard Banning.
