He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Powers and Virginia Elizabeth Townes Powers; his wife Rhonda Powers; and his siblings, Hershel Powers and Lora Jean Powers.
He is survived by: his sons, Cory Powers (Jasmine McCloud) of Nickelsville and Jamey Byington (Tori) of Minot; his grandchildren, Hayden and Benix Byington; his close friend Steve Johnson; his pet Possum; and his nieces and nephews, Shanna Powers, Rebecca Sturgill, Dumpy Powers and Bobby Ramsey.
