She is survived by: her children, Teresa Farmer Shortt of Nickelsville, VA and Vern Mays (Sheila) of Nickelsville, VA; her grandchildren, Dustin Taylor Mays (Robyn), Morgan Rhea Hazlett (Austin) of Linden, NC, Summer Carmack, Stewart, April Wallace, Andy, Brandi and Chris Statzer; her great grandchildren, Emery Ann Hazlett, Stephanie, Chris, Samantha, Skylar, Dylan, Emily, Chloe Wallace, Whitney, John Powers, Katie Sluss and Dustin; her great great grandchildren, Emma, Bentley, John Wayne and Eli; her aunt Odine Fleenor; her cousin Doug Jackson (Pauline); and her close friends, Nancy, Phyllis and Melanie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
