She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Compton and Lois Cress Dingus Compton; and her brother Alden (Compton). She is survived by: her close friend Glen Honeycutt; her daughter Amy Honeycutt Barret (John); and her siblings, Jami Wanda Hatchell (William "Buddy"), Sherry Compton Steffey (Emmitt), Kathy Compton Angle (Bob), Jeanie Dingus Tate, Jiles Compton and Johnny Dingus (Susan). She is also survived by 8 nieces, 7 nephews, 12 great nephews, 19 great nieces, 2 great-great nephews, 5 great-great nieces; along with several friends.
