He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Lee and Alba Estelle Burke, Sr. (Hartsock); and his sister Nell Nickels (late Ben). He is survived by: his wife Betty Burke; his sons, Sammy Burke (Kellie), Charles Edward Burke and Jamie Burke; his grandchildren, Erik Burke, Bryan Burke, Neil Burke, William Burke, Aaron Burke, Samantha Burke, Hailey Marie Burke, Chloe Burke and Peyton Burke; his brothers, Don Burke (Peggy), Billy Burke (Helen), Jimmy Burke (Roseanne) and Ricky Burke (Sue); and his nephews, Jody Burke, Josh Austin, Travis Nickels, Bryan Burke, Erik Burke and Brandon Burke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Twin Springs Athletic Boosters in Chub's name.
