He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Andrews and Essie Mae Bell Andrews; his son Terry Andrews, Jr. (Pam) of Edenton, NC; his grandchildren, Kenya Andrews and Terrell Cherry; and his siblings, Avon, Johnny, Carlton and Levora.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Booky" Magalean Andrews; his daughters, Teri Miller (Lawrence) of Richmond, VA, Tami Powell (James) of Newport News, VA, Evette Mallory of Wake Forest, NC, Shonda Griffith (Todd) of Locust Grove, GA and Ashaki Goodman of Columbus, GA; his siblings, Minerva Grimes, Lou Edna Glenn of Robersonville, NC, William Andrews of Boston, MA, Curtis Andrews of Robersonville, NC, Ernest Spruill of Atlanta, GA and Jeffery Spruill of Newport News, VA; and his grandchildren, Shareeta (Maurice), LaTonya, Micheal, Sharee, Ameka, Kaleesha, James Young Jr., James Powell, Jr., Tariq, Likita (David), Tiffany, Evander, Marquise, Quentin, Shontail, Brandon, Briania, Antonio, Andrew, Todd and Senita. He is also survived by thirty-eight great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
