It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Weathers of Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Saverance and Snow Saverance (Langston); her husband Barney Herbert Weathers, Sr.; her children, Patricia Snow Porter and Barney H. Weathers, Jr.; and her close friend Ralph Hudson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Sutliff of Warren, MI; her daughter-in-law Karen Weathers of Newport News; her grandchildren, Holly Mashek, Kevin Porter, Sam Sutliff and Lucinda Sutliff; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Fleege, Lilith Mashek and Summer Porter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and cousins.
