She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Whitaker and Goldlee Whitaker; her husband Rudolph Sherin; her children, Margie Langford, Jonnie Mack Lewis, Donald Ray Lewis, Kenny Lewis and Ebby Lewis; and her grandchildren, Tahtisha Cummings and Lamont Lewis.
She is survived by: her son Vinson Lewis; and her grandchildren, Floyd Langford (Carla), Sherry Carmichael (David), Davon Evans, Monica Wilkerson, Edward Lewis Jr., Kamon Lewis, Jonnie Lewis, Ebony Henderson, Jermiah Hardy, Channon Gould and Teresa Hardy.
