He was predeceased by: his parents, Rod Steele and Maxine Steele; his sister Deborah Dean; his stepson Ryan Burnside; and his close friend Jim Miller.
He is survived by: his significant other Becky Steele; his daughter Keri Lane (Casey); his adoptive daughter Nicole Thompson (Mickey); his granddaughter Leah Thompson; his cousin Rick Brown (Kay); and his close friend Clay Rickman (Rebecca). He is also survived by many other true friends, nieces and nephews.
