We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William H. Stanley Sr. of Mechanicsville, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Carter Stanley; his daughter Mary Francis Marie Stanley; and his mother Ellen Harris Stanley. He is survived by: his children, Virginia Glasco (Rick), William Stanley Jr. (Cheryl) and Timothy Stanley (Kim); his grandchildren, Dustin, Jay, Mitchel, Allison, Madison, Will and Kameron; his friend Church; his daughter-in-law Cheryl; and his caregivers, Debbie Beach, Rebecca Byiers, Mildred Caswell, Ann Fidd, Sharon Groome, Deborah Hicks, Barbara Mulhi, Michele Sharpe and Joyce Udriet. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, hundreds of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the YMCA, 8017 Rutland.
