As we bid Ruth Whaley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruth Whaley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlisle Whaley and Ruth Harper Whaley; her sister Betsy Whaley Ince; and also Ruth. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Lundin (Tom), Sara Simasek (Bernie) and Natalie Waltz; her pet Carmel; and her significant other Tom.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church (2446 Old Church Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
