She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles I. Thacker Sr. and Arlene Callahan Thacker; her husband Charles N. Houston; her grandson Ronald Glen Houston; and her siblings, Barbara T. Gilbert and Charles I Thacker, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Donald D. Houston (Debra) and Ronald L. Houston (Edna); her grandchildren, Jennifer Doran (Jamey), Christopher Houston (Kristen) and Troy Houston (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Jay, Anna, Hannah, Owen, Wesley, Hailey and Oliver; and her brother Norman Thacker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
