She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Spicer and Evelyn Spicer; her husband John R. Marshall; her siblings, Buddy Spicer, Martha Anne Hibbs and Evelyn Pearl Turner; and her brother-in-law James Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Norma Mitchell (Bruce), John Marshall (Mahvash) and Jeanna Marshall-Howard (Wayne); her grandchildren, David John Marcussen (Katie), Katie Quintanilla (William), Julia White (Jovan), Ericka Mitchell (Clint) and Sheri Marshall; her great grandchildren, Truitt, Dashel, Fischer, Camila, Olivia, Jovana, Sophia, Maxwell, Hannah and Hudson; and her sisters, Jean Crowther of Florida and Gay Currie-Rogers of South Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Highway for the Remnant, P.O. Box 168, Elk Creek, VA 24326.
