He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Williams Stearns and Palmer Newcombe Stearns, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Flint Stearns; his children, Emmy Nadiga and Palmer Newcombe Stearns, III (Amy); and his grandchildren, Tara Nadiga, Jayant Nadiga, Samant Nadiga, Jacob Stearns and Lucas Stearns.
